Pitsmoor Adventure Playground is an open access facility for 5 – 14 year olds, open five days a week. it supports children and young people, who sometimes find themselves in difficult situations and often have no place to hang out. The playground is a sanctuary for some young people and it is a place where they cna have fun, socialise, work in teams and gain access to postive excursions and experiences in the safe and secure environment provided by the staff
The playground is managed by Sheffield City Council's Activity Sheffield,and has strong links with parents and local residents, who play a part in deciding future plans and fundraising for extra activities.
