From mid January 2006 at the Millenium Galleries in Sheffield City Centre you can see a wonderful exhibition of Islamic treasures from the Middle East which has toured in America and Japan. Sheffield is the only city outside London to have this collection on display, so don't miss this chance to visit the Millenium Galleries with your family.
Tickets cost £4.00 per adult, £2.00 per child, but Burngreave groups can get free admission by contacting Nikky Wilson of Burngreave Voices on 0114 276 1900.
The exhibition contains textile work produced by women at Firs Hill Primary School as part of the Islamic Textile Design course in November 2005. You can see some of their work on display at Burngreave Library and photographs in the reception area at Firs Hill School.
