‘Creative Fun Day’

The first Learning Event was planned in partnership with Rashida Hassanali, Family Learning Co-ordinator at Firshill Primary School. The idea was to provide a variety of activities for families.
Get Creative tutors Imogen Singer and Louise Emm led on a bag making activity to provide a taster in the Bags and Cushion Making Course, which was to take place at the school. Other activities included games, cake making and arts and crafts for children.
A buffet was organised for people attending the event. The event was publicised with an advert in the Burngreave Messenger and posters and leaflets were distributed in various locations such as schools, doctors surgeries, community centres and shops around the Burngreave area.
