The Sheffield Primary Care Trust (PCT) was formed on 1st October 2006 following the merger of North Sheffield PCT, South East Sheffield PCT, Sheffield South West PCT and Sheffield West PCT.
Primary Care is the care provided by people you normally see when you first have a health problem i.e. Doctors, Community Nurses etc.
Sheffield PCT serves a population of approximately 516,000 and covers the same area as Sheffield City Council.
Sheffield PCT and BNDfC are committed to working together to improve health provisions in Burngreave, to help make Burngreave residents healthier.
