Successes

During the year 2005, over 100 young people used and benefited from the ‘Catch the Drift’ project.

Through its school exclusion programme, 17 young people who were either temporarily or permanately excluded from mainstraim education have been supported.

The specialised interactive course supported 22 young people in achieving their subject credits.

One pupil excluded from school in 2002 came to Catch the Drift in late June 2002. We negotiated her re-integration back into school, acheived in December 2002, after attending Catch the Drift full-time for six months.

In March 2003 she undertook work experience at the All Saints Connexions Centre. She later left school and went into further education at Longley Sixth Form College. She currently still volunteers at All Saints Connexions Youth Club.
