One World Centre for the Healing Arts in Burngreave Sheffeld is a sanctuary for the enjoyment of soulful and healing activities and is a safe and sacred space. It hosts a number of associates who share the same objectives. Our life philosophies are varied, but all embrace the new and promoting 'One World' consciousness.

The centre offers a wide range of healing and art workshops and courses. It is part of the developing and rich culture of a regenerating Burngreave, an area identified recently by the Royal Bank of Scotland as one of the UK's property 'hot spots'. The One World Centre is partly funded as a developing enterprise by the Burngreave New Deal for Community Partnership via a range of grant programmes.

An open day will take place on Saturday October 1st where the workshops and dance classes funded under the current round of subsidy from the Creative Burngreave Programme will have free taster sessions during the day.

These will include:

  • 1.00 and 4.30: Keeping the world in balance – Using Irish music and dance to create a balanced life.

  • 3.00: Tai Chi

  • 7.30: Dances of Universal Peace

Throughout the day there will be:

  • A chance to view this unique building which was purpose built as a dance studio.

  • A range of ethnic and other foods.

  • Weleda natural products will offer a free tester display.

The building will be open during the day and workshops places can be booked in advance by ringing Ian Lee on 0795 850 0314
