Amanda Wells

Amanda has been involved in the Business Forum since its beginning and acts as one of the Forum representatives to the New Deal Partnership Board in addition to being on the Management Committee.

She has lived in Burngreave for 20 years and has chosen to keep her business in the area despite tempting offers to move out. She says that she loves the diversity of the area, the fact that you can walk around it using mostly green space, and is looking forward to a clean and diverse shopping area.

Amanda’s experience includes spending time in the early 80's travelling around the country to set up new stores for B & Q. After this she worked as a community teacher and development worker before starting her own business.

Stress Solutions is a stress management consultancy which offers a range of activities designed to relieve, balance and eventually resolve stress imbalances, for individuals both separately and within an organisational setting.
