BNDfC have moved away from Themes and have identified four Priority Areas. The information in this section has been kept for access to theme group minutes and for historical purposes.

- Crime & Community Safety
- The theme aims to make Burngreave a safe place to live, work and play.
- Education
- The Education Theme seeks to bring together schools and community based organisations to develop a thriving learning culture in Burngreave.
- Employment & Enterprise
- The Employment and Enterprise Theme focuses mainly on employment, enterprise and economic development issues that affect the regeneration area.
- Environment
- The Environment theme aims to improve the parks and open spaces in and around Burngreave, improve key buildings and facilities and tackle the disposal, reusing and recycling of waste.
- Health
- The Health Theme aims to create a healthier community in Burngreave, working with a range of partners to ensure that Burngreave residents will not suffer poor health because of where they live.
- Housing
- The Housing theme works closely with Sheffield City Council to improve the condition of housing stock in and around the Burngreave Area.
- Overarching
- Within the Overarching Theme emphasis is on building a stronger community through projects that will act as a catalyst for greater community involvement and ensure that as many people as possible are empowered to participate fully in the programme.
