Projects carried out through the Education Theme should assist BNDfC in meeting its outcomes. The outcomes for the Education Theme are:
To close the gap in attainment at Key Stage 2 (aged 11) between Burngreave and the city average.
To close the gap in GCSE (General Certificate of Education) attainment at Key Stage 4 (aged 16) between Burngreave and the city average.
To Increase attendance in all schools to 91% and maintain this as the minimum attendance figure.
To close the gap in numbers of adults with NVQ Level 2 Qualifications between Burngreave and the city average.
To close the gap in adult language, literacy and numeracy skills between Burngreave and the city average.
