Through consultation with local people the Partnership Board is responsible for agreeing the forthcoming priorities of the programme. Working with the Executive Management team the Board are responsible for strategic and long term planning for the BNDfC programme. The Board has been responsible for awarding funding to initiatives that tackle the things which local people identified as priorities. The Board are overseeing the transformational projects in the area.
The Partnership Board has 25 seats:
10 for Community Representatives, who are local residents elected by the people of the Burngreave New Deal for Communities area to represent them on the Partnership Board
5 for representatives from the local Voluntary & Community sector in Burngreave
1 for a local Councillor
3 for Business Representatives from the local Business community,
6 for representatives from the Statutory Sector e.g. Police, Sheffield City Council
