One of our clients came to see us to seek help with paying her deceased daughter's debts, amounting to £300. Her daughter had not left an estate or any money, which meant that our client was under no obligation to pay the debt.
The Advocacy project liaised with the creditors, resulting in wiping out all the debts, which was a big relief for our client, who was still coping with the loss of her daughter.
