Burngreave Vestry Hall
Burngreave Vestry Hall

The Vestry Hall is a grade II listed building, designed in the Jacobean revival style of architecture. It was built as offices for rates collection and registry for the area but has also been used as a polling station, sports hall and soup kitchen. The hall stopped being used in 1997.

Now restored, the centre is managed by a Vestry Hall management group consisting of local residents and run in partnership with BNDfC and local education providers.

As part of the project, specialist restoration company Simpson's of York, have retained and restored all the original features that were able to be preserved, whilst adding a new first floor and basement.
