This years event is to be held on Sunday 10th of July in Abbeyfield Park. The show starts at 1pm and ends at 6pm. Admission is free to all.
The festival is a celebration of the diversity and quality of the community of Burngreave. From the younger members to the older people of the area everybody has something to do and enjoy at the event. Families in particular make the event what it is. Smiles all around when the sun shines
There will be three music entertainment stages at the event. They are the Sound System tent the, the Community stage and the Main Stage. Each will feature a wide variety of acts. There will also be a central dance performance area. This will showcase an eclectic mix of dance for all corners of the globe. This year the main stage will be host to bigger acts with a wider appeal.
In addition there will be a huge fringe market, local business exhibitions, the green area, a whole host of interactive workshops including circus performances and children’s rides and attractions.
The event is in its seventh year. Last year the festival was awarded the Cohesion Award from the New Deal for Communities Achievement Awards 2004.
