This workshop viewed a video of single parents from SCOOP Aid Ltd and other lone parent partner organisations across South Yorkshire getting involved with Objective One Lone Parent projects.
A key concern of the workshop was the lack of youth provision and support for young men in the area to help them move from inappropriate behaviour to more useful activity.
There needed to be more activity for young men, including after school and at weekends.
The workshop also called for better partnership between those working with young people, including Youth workers and Connexions PAs.
