Burngreave New Deal for Communities (BNDfC) has made a key appointment to its team as it looks to spread the word of the excellent work being done in the area.
Eloise Clarke, 28, has taken up the newly created post of Communications Officer.
Her main duties include to oversee regular and effective communications both internally and externally, build greater awareness of BNDfC and to manage and develop the BNDfC information shop on Spital Hill.
Eloise, who now lives in Hackenthorpe, Sheffield after moving from Burton-on-Trent to take up this position, has worked in the regeneration sector for over two years. She comes from the Heart of Burton Partnership, a Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder, where she had a wide range of duties including communications.
Says Eloise: "I really enjoy working in the regeneration sector but wanted to focus more on communications. This new role allows me to do this and it is an exciting challenge in a different part of the UK.
"Burngreave is a diverse community with a strong sense of community spirit and there is a lot of scope to celebrate the different cultures in the area. So much good work goes on within the community and I want to let people know all about it!
“I am looking forward to working with the BNDfC team, seeing the changes in the area and playing a part in the progress – I am hoping to help put Burngreave on the map as a desirable place to be,” she added.
John Clark, Chief Executive of BNDfC, said: “We are delighted that Eloise has joined our team – she has exactly the right credentials and expertise to help us build on the positive work that is already taking place within Burngreave.”
