- Yemeni Centre Awarded Beacon Status
- The Yemeni Economic and Training Centre (YETC), on Attercliffe Common, has been awarded Beacon Status by the Home Office.
- Conservation Project Improves Health
- The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) Green Gym, a national charitable initiative, is helping local people to improve their health and well-being through activities such as installing a wooden bench in the park, tree-planting or working on a community garden.
