Each Priority Area holds bi-monthly Residents' Forum events that are open to all residents and people with an interest in the regeneration of the Burngreave area.
The Residents' Forums are a resident-led group where issues are prioritised and discussed. The group make recommendations to the Priority Area Strategy Groups for their consideration.
The role of the Strategy Groups' is to consider issues raised by Residents' Forum and oversee the development of the Priority Area strategy. Priority Area Strategy Groups are made up of nine members (eight voting):
Two residents selected from the Residents' Forum or wider community through a recruitment process
Two elected Community Board Members attending the Residents' Forum
Two representatives from the voluntary, community and faith sector
Two representatives from the statutory/mainstream organisations
The Implementation Groups consist of representatives from BNDfC funded projects. The group aim is to share information/progress on projects, be consulted on issues/projects and given the opportunity to input information for consideration in the decision making process.
