Black History Month 2006

Black History Month has been celebrated across the UK every October for over 30 years, each year growing from strength to strength. Black History Month is a time which highlights and celebrates the achievements of the black community and uncover hidden history about our communities.

Many exciting events are happening accross Burngreave as part of Black History Month:

Launch Event, Ellesmere Green – International arts and food festival. Free food from different nationalities, also dance, performances and information.
